Southeast Sulawesi's NTP in August 2021 was recorded at 99.87 or decreased by 1.10 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 100.98. The NTP of each subsector is listed as follows: Food Crops Subsector (NTPP) 97.14; Horticulture Subsector (NTPH) 112.77; People's Plantation Sub-sector (NTPR) 97.02; Livestock Subsector (NTPT) 105.89 and Fisheries Subsector (NTNP) 104.57. Meanwhile, the National NTP Index was 104.68, an increase of 1.16 percent from the previous 103.48.
In August 2021, nationally 26 provinces experienced an increase in NTP, while 8 other provinces experienced a decrease in NTP. The highest increase was recorded in Bangka Belitung Province, which was 3.68 percent, while the largest decrease was recorded in Riau Islands Province at 1.41 percent.
In August 2021, Southeast Sulawesi was recorded to experience rural inflation of 0.84 percent.
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Southeast Sulawesi Province in August 2021 was 100.99, down 0.53 percent compared to July's NTUP of 101.53.
