In March 2021, the level of inequality in the expenditure of the population of Southeast Sulawesi as measured by the Gini Ratio was 0.390. This figure increased by 0.002 points when compared to the September 2020 Gini Ratio of 0.388. Meanwhile, when compared to the March 2020 Gini Ratio of 0.389, the March 2021 Gini Ratio increased by 0.001 points.
The Gini Ratio in urban areas in March 2021 was recorded at 0.411, an increase compared to the Gini Ratio in September 2020 which was 0.403 and the Gini Ratio in March 2020 which was 0.404.
The Gini Ratio in rural areas in March 2021 was recorded at 0.348 and in September 2020 it was recorded at 0.348, an increase of 0.001 points compared to the Gini Ratio in March 2021 which was 0.347.
Based on the World Bank's measure of inequality, in September 2020 the distribution of expenditure for the bottom 40 percent of the population was 16.97 percent.
