Southeast Sulawesi's NTP in May 2021 was recorded at 98.32 or an increase of 0.49 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 97.84. The NTP of each subsector is listed as follows: Food Crops Subsector (NTPP) 95.03; Horticulture Subsector (NTPH) 108.18; People's Plantation Plant Subsector (NTPR) 95.78; Livestock Subsector (NTPT) 107.33 and Fisheries Subsector (NTNP) 101.54. Meanwhile, the National NTP Index was 103.39 or increased by 0.44 percent from the previous 102.93.
In May 2021, nationally 25 provinces experienced an increase in NTP, while 9 other provinces experienced a decrease in NTP. The highest increase was recorded in North Sulawesi Province at 2.00 percent, while the largest decline was recorded in Papua Province at 1.21 percent.
In May 2021, Southeast Sulawesi recorded rural inflation of 1.15 percent. The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Southeast Sulawesi Province in May 2021 was 98.37, an increase of 1.40 percent compared to April's NTUP of 97.02.
