Abstract

The Southeast Sulawesi economy based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) in 2020 at the current price reached IDR 130.18 trillion and at constant 2010 prices reached IDR 93.45 trillion.
The Southeast Sulawesi economy in 2020 contracted by 0.65 percent compared to the 2019 achievement which grew by 6.50 percent (c-to-c). From the production side, the deepest contraction occurred in the Transportation and Warehousing Business Field by 5.25 percent. From the expenditure side, the deepest contraction occurred in the Consumption Component for Non-Profit Institutions serving Households (PK-LNPRT) by 3.59 percent.
The economy of Southeast Sulawesi in quarter IV-2020 compared to quarter IV-2019 experienced a contraction of 2.15 percent (y-on-y). From the production side, the Wholesale and Retail Trade and Car and Motorcycle Repair Business Fields experienced the deepest contraction by 9.14 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the deepest contraction occurred in the Government Consumption Expenditure Component (PK-P) of 2.87 percent.
The economy of Southeast Sulawesi in quarter IV-2020 grew by 2.11 percent (q-to-q) when compared to the previous quarter. From the production side, the highest growth was in the Electricity and Gas Supply Business Field by 13.41 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, it was achieved by the Goods and Services Export Component which grew by 48.53 percent.
