Southeast Sulawesi NTP in January 2021 was recorded at 97.00 or decreased by 0.29 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 97.28. NTP for each sub-sector is listed as follows: Food Crops Sub-sector (NTPP) 96.42; Horticulture Subsector (NTPH) 105.00; People's Plantation Crops Subsector (NTPR) 93.49; Animal Husbandry Subsector (NTPT) 104.94 and Fisheries Subsector (NTNP) 99.79. Meanwhile, the National NTP Index was 103.26, an increase of 0.01 percent from the previous 103.25.
In January 2021, nationally 23 provinces experienced an increase in NTP, while 11 other provinces experienced a decrease in NTP. The highest increase was recorded in Bangka Belitung Province, namely 2.42 percent, while the largest decrease was recorded in South Sumatra Province at 1.79 percent.
In January 2021, Southeast Sulawesi experienced rural deflation of 0.26 percent. This occurred due to a decrease in the price index in the food, beverage and tobacco sub-group by 0.44 percent; the housing, water, electricity and household fuel sub-group by 0.05 percent; the equipment, equipment and routine household maintenance sub-group by 0.12 percent; the information, communication and financial services sub-group by 0.05 percent; the recreation, sports and culture sub-group by 0.14 percent. While other sub-groups experienced increases, namely the clothing and footwear sub-group by 0.03 percent; the health sub-group by 0.34 percent, the transportation sub-group by 0.08 percent, the education sub-group by 0.00 percent; the food and beverage / restaurant supply sub-group by 0.09 percent; and the personal care and other services sub-group by 0.16 percent.
