Abstract

The deflation of Kendari in January 2020 was recorded at 0.27 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) 103.58. Out of 90 cities, 11 cities experienced deflation and 79 cities experienced inflation. The deepest deflation occurred in Baubau City (Southeast Sulawesi Province) by 1.39 percent with CPI 102.09.
  • Commodities contributing to deflation are purebred chicken eggs, women's blouses, cassava leaves, katamba fish, lime / lime, nail / fern leaves, spinach, gasoline, moringa leaves, and air transportation.
  • Commodities contributing to inflation are floating fish / benggol fish, anchovies, cars, shallots, purebred chicken, carrots, skipjack / scales, cooking oil, filter clove cigarettes, and long beans.
