Abstract

The labor force in August 2019 was 1,263,275 people, an increase of 15,063 people (1.21 percent) compared to August 2018 and an increase of 62,670 people (5.22 percent) compared to August 2017.

The population working in Southeast Sulawesi in August 2019 was 1,217,983 people, an increase of 10,495 people (0.87 percent) compared to August 2018 and an increase of 57,009 people (4.91 percent) compared to August 2017.

The Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) in August 2019 was 69.07 percent, down 0.71 percentage point compared to August 2018 and up 0.37 percentage point compared to August 2017.

The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in August 2019 was 3.59 percent, up 0.33 percentage point compared to August 2018 and up 0.29 percentage point compared to August 2017.
