Abstract

Southeast Sulawesi's economy in the third quarter of 2019 as measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices reached Rp 33.31 trillion and at the constant 2010 prices reached Rp 24.14 trillion.

Southeast Sulawesi's economy in the third quarter of 2019 grew 6.18 percent (y-on-y) slowing down compared to the third quarter of 2018 of 7.14 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth achieved by the Manufacturing Industry was 10.83 percent. From the expenditure side, achieved by the Export of Goods and Services Components which grew by 33.75 percent.

Southeast Sulawesi's economy in the third quarter of 2019 grew 3.67 percent (q-to-q) slowing down compared to the previous quarter of 6.81 percent. From the production side, this was caused by increased construction activity by 9.82 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, it was caused by the growth of Gross Fixed Capital Formation Components by 7.08 percent.

In terms of production, the fields of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries gave the most dominant contribution to Southeast Sulawesi's GRDP of 22.82 percent. While in terms of expenditure, the most dominant contribution occurred in the Household Consumption Expenditure Component (PK-RT) of 49.12 percent.
