Abstract

Southeast Sulawesi's economy in the second quarter of 2019 as measured by the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices reached Rp 31.39 trillion and at the base of constant prices in 2010 it reached Rp 23.29 trillion.
  • Southeast Sulawesi's economy in the second quarter of 2019 grew 6.30 percent (y-on-y), higher than the second quarter of 2018 of 6.13 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth achieved by the Manufacturing Industry was 15.92 percent. From the expenditure side, achieved by the Export of Goods and Services Components which grew by 63.52 percent.
  • Southeast Sulawesi's economy in the second quarter of 2019 grew 6.81 percent (q-to-q) higher than the previous quarter of minus 6.00 percent. From the production side, this was caused by an increase in wholesale and retail trade activities by 9.79. While in terms of expenditure, it is caused by the growth of the Government Consumption Component (PK-P) by 27.51 percent.
