Abstract

Southeast Sulawesi NTP in July 2019 was recorded at 93.78 or decreased by 0.62 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 94.37. The NTP of each subsector is listed as follows: Food Crop Subsector (NTPP) 85.22; Horticulture Subsector (NTPH) 95,13; Community Plantation Crop Subsector (NTPR) 85.63; Livestock Subsector (NTPT) 105.15 and Fisheries Subsector (NTNP) 118.90. While the National NTP Index was 102.63, up by 0.60 percent from 102.33.

In July 2019, 25 provinces experienced a national increase in NTP, while 8 other provinces experienced a decline in NTP. The highest increase was recorded in Gorontalo Province, which amounted to 1.90 percent, while the largest decrease was recorded in South Sumatra Province by 0.96 percent.

In July 2019, Southeast Sulawesi Province experienced rural inflation of 0.17 percent. This is due to an increase in the price index in six sub-groups of household consumption, namely the foodstuff sub-group by 0,23 percent; subgroups of processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0.11 percent; housing sub-group by 0,16 percent clothing sub-group 0,17 percent; health sub-group by 0,04 percent; and the education, recreation and sports sub-group by 0.53 percent. while the transportation and communication subgroup decreased by 0.02 percent
