Abstract

The percentage of urban poor and rural poor has decreased. In September 2017, the percentage of poor people in urban areas was 7.14 percent, decreasing 0.42 points against March 2017 (7.56 percent). While in rural areas in September 2017 the percentage of poor people by 14.74 percent decreased by 0.55 points to March 2017 (15.29 percent). So in Southeast Sulawesi during the period of March - September 2017 the percentage of poor people decreased by 0.84 percent.

During March - September 2017, the Poverty Line rose by 4.88 percent, from Rp 285,609 per capita per month in March 2017 to Rp 300,258 per capita per month in September 2017.
