Abstract
Inflation Kendari City in September 2015, was recorded at 0.61 percent in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) 118.00. Nationally from 82 cities that calculate inflation, 46 cities recorded inflation and 36 cities recorded deflation, the highest inflation was recorded in Merauke (Papua Province) 1.33 percent and Tanjung Pandan (Bangka Belitung) 1.20 percent and the lowest inflation was recorded in city of Jakarta (DKI Jakarta Povinsi) 0.01. Meanwhile highest deflation was recorded in Kota Sibolga (North Sumatra Province) 1.85 percent and Ternate (North Maluku Province) 1.58 percent.
Inflation in Kendari recorded due to the increase in the price index of clothing and clothing 1.92 percent; education, recreation and sport 1.73 percent; foodstuffs 1.46 percent; food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco at 0.91 percent; health 0.29 percent, and housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel 0.11 percent. While the transportation, communications and financial services tercata deflation of 0.55 percent.
Commodities that contributed the greatest inflation is rice; long eggplant; tutoring; long beans; Cayenne pepper; chicken meat; lapotop / notebook; slippers; cucumber and watercress.
Commodities that contributed the greatest deflation is a motorcycle; the prospect /bloat; air transport; pomfret; anchovies; skipjack; red onion; dried instant noodles; squid and banana.
Of the eleven cities on the island of Sulawesi, all cities recorded inflation. The highest inflation was recorded at 0.62 percent Manado (North Sulawesi) and Kendari (Southeast Sulawesi Province) 0.61 percent with CPI of 121.26 and 118.00. While the lowest inflation in the City Baubau (Southeast Sulawesi Province) 0.08 percent with CPI of 124.87.
Inflation Kendari calendar year (January to September 2015 recorded 1.58 percent and the inflation rate year-on-year (September 2015 to September 2014) was recorded 6.86 percent.
The inflation rate Kendari calendar year (January to September 2014 recorded 7.21 percent and the inflation rate year on year (September 2014 to September 2013) stood at 7.30 percent.
